It was dry day for me not much happened other than
watching some videos in YouTube and calling back home, there is a reason for
that I was not well, had little bit of fever, cough, and cold and throat
infection.
To get my body under control I did oil massage to my head last night and
drinking Paracetamol from morning, it was ok by evening than I thought of
taking full head bath to make body more relax, as I am staying in B&B it’s
not a big deal taking bath in shower (I no need to worry about switching on hot
water all that). After taking bath, I felt too relaxed and started listening
some devotional songs (which I used to do when I was bachelor), while listening
Veena also joined me on Skype we both got chance to listen some good devotional
songs.
Now it’s time for food, I just thought going to vegetarian restaurant and
have food instead of having veggie food in non vegetarian restaurant, I was not
fancy going to non veggie restaurant after listening such a great devotional
songs. Usually one day in week we used to go to one of the Gujarati veggie
restaurant in Leeds. That’s called Hansa’s.
I took out my car started driving it’s 2 miles from B&B, somehow
managed to get parking near to restaurant parked and went in, you know weekdays
we usually get table, I was in the impression that I will get table without
booking. It’s weekend and restaurant is jam packed (For your information, it’s
pure veggie restaurant), I asked the lady (She got national award from UK Govt
for her veggie recipes, Good to hear about that in hardcore non vegetarian
country :)) for table she said sorry it will take 45 minutes to get next table,
I was really surprised and I am in the mood of having veggie food in vegetarian
restaurant, I said I am happy to wait. It was so busy they recruited 3 extra
suppliers for the day. I was waiting in bar counter same time mentioned to one
of the supplier that I am happy to sit anywhere I don’t mind sitting on bar
counter and I want only THALI no starter or nothing.
Somehow he managed to arrange table for me in the corner, the same time
one more British man entered into restaurant, he is 6.3 inch tall ad age is
around 50. I told supplier that if you are unable to find table for him, I am
happy to share my table with him. He went and convinced him to share table with
me.
So it’s time to introduce myself to stranger. I said, HI.... He also said
Hi..... He said restaurant is too busy as long as we are getting good food I
don’t mind. I said that’s cool. Than we started talking about India and UK, He
is born and bought up in UK Started taking about changes in UK from last 20
years and he was not happy about the changes. He somehow started talking about
FDI issue in India, He said FDI is bad for India, I have explained why FDI is
necessary for India, I gave good examples of problems with farmers and
merchants and also explained him the direct benefit to farmers, he was very
much happy after hearing the current situation and he said yes it's required
for India. Ya every solution got problem (I mean good and Bad Issues) but we
have to think long term and find solution again for old solution. Accepting
something new is always good.
Then started talking about personal life, I said I have two kids, at
present both are in India, I will be relocating to India for starting something
my own, than he said he is a father for 2 and he is taking care of them as his
wife is on full time job, earlier he used to work as a teacher. I asked him
from how long you are at home he said from 4 years (if it's in India people say
that "See this guy sitting in home and enjoying, but wife is struggling.
The man will get all the less words like
"Useless","Hopeless","Mind Less"..... Wife Less :)).
That is the difference between each corners of the world. anyway it’s not
today's problem we no need to worry much let us come back, Than he said I have
adopted 2 daughters when they were in 1 year old, now one is 5 and another one
is 3. I was surprise to hear that, than somehow I manage to ask a rude (not in
that situation) question to him why you didn't try for one, he straight away
said I am not capable enough to give birth to baby (Wow, Salute to you boss,
what an honest answer. Recently I heard from UK news Honesty is going down in
UK, but this example made me to recall that news.) Than he said I have some serious
health problem. I was not interested to dig further, as it’s none of my
business. I said that's fine.
You know in early stage of this blog I mentioned that I am in vegetarian
restaurant. I had ordered thali; somehow I got thali very quickly. he was
sitting front of me, and he order masala dosa(In north Indian restaurant
finding right masala dosa is very difficult in India itself) for his starter
and thali for his main course, he got masala dosa, first few minutes our hands
and mouth are too busy, after treating our tasty buds we came back to our
conversation, suddenly my brain said, why can’t you ask him about taste of the
food, He straight away said food is excellent and he also mentioned "I am
Vegetarian" from my Teenage(16 Years) and I enjoy veggie food. Oh my god
again kahani mein twist, for a moment I felt this person is totally unique. In
my couple of years of UK Lifestyle, I never heard The British saying like this,
You know In one instance one my British friend said Without seeing dead animal
in his plate the day won't end, yak that was not surprise for me as majority of
the people go for meat every day. But the person who is sitting front me really
surprised, than I asked why what was the reason to stop Non-Veg, He Said
"I don't like animals dying for me"(Wow again salute for you
mate!!!). It's a lesson for the whole world from mathematics teacher. I am not
trying to prove that he did something miracle, I am just trying to point out
how much he sacrificed from his teenage. Think if he go to any parties, how he
will manage when there is no vegetarians options and all are busy having
Non-Veg. Don't you think he is someone unique.
I have started searching for leftover food in my plate, than he also mentioned, once he been to Mumbai... 10 years back when he was 40 years old.... indirectly I came to know that he is 50 years old now. I said India changed lot in last 10 years you should visit sometime to India, he said once my kids starts leading life them self, I have a plan to visit.
I paid bill, and supplier asked hope you both had good company, both of
us simultaneously said "YES". Than I Said "Good Bye, Have a Nice
evening with shake Hand". He said Good Bye and Have great success in your Bangalore
business, hopefully we will meet again.
Yes I will keep hope!
Moral of the story who knows (Yavanig gothu!!) you decide... I don’t have
that much patience.
Please forgive all my mistakes..... It’s beginning!!!
